Tanja Groos
I ask a lot of questions. My work is the embodiment of my hungry curiosity. My works are open ended conversations of figures in active spaces. Viewers are invited to design their own conclusions.  My work is, to me, an exploration of states of being. Challenged by possibility, comforted by diversity, confused by injustice, enticed by potential, motivated by hope – the journey for answers continues.

Artist and designer Tanja Groos creates paintings that often merge human forms with active spaces – a surreal taste that asks more than it answers. She liberates her ideas using oil and acrylic paint, pencil, mixed media and digital tools. An emerging artist, she has had group exhibitions in Ontario and New York and belongs to private collections in both USA and Canada. Tanja is active in the arts community and currently is Board member at HAI.

Maureen Paxton
The work currently on exhibit at the Inc. are all interiors.  That is, inside a tree, a mirror, a studio.  Last but not least, there are someone else's shoes.

Maureen Paxton moved to Hamilton in 2008.  She has taught at OCADU and Sheridan, at the ROM and Toronto Continuing Ed.  She draws and paints.   She has also illustrated eight children's books (one of them shortlisted for the Governor General's medal) and was a member of the Playwrights Unit at Tarragon Theatre in Toronto.

Linda Towart
In this new body of Abstract Paintings, I loved combining bold, rich, vivid colors and various painting techniques to create fantastic color combinations and unusual designs that are ever evolving and changing.  The freedom is marvelous!

Linda’s work has exhibited throughout the region including the Burlington Art Centre, The Dundas Valley School of Art, Gallery 435, Sunrise Gallery, and The Art Gallery of Hamilton. She has studied privately and within a number of classes held by Professional artists in the region. She routinely participates in Juried Exhibitions and has sat on several Art-related Boards of Directors in the area.  Collectors throughout the Niagara Region, Toronto, Mississauga, Fort Lauderdale, Vancouver, Oregon, Buffalo, New York City and Australia enjoy her work.
