Craft Mart* is a carefully curated pop-up craft and design market bringing together the works of talented and unique crafters and designers. Located at the Hamilton Artists Inc (on the corner of James and Cannon) Craft Mart will be open to the public over an Art Crawl weekend, with an expected 1600-2500 visitors.
We are very excited to host our first CRAFT MART* and would like to thank Lisa Pijuan-Nomura of Girl Can Create for partnering with the us. Please help spread the word and pass on the call!

Craft Mart is a new annual event from the Hamilton Artists Inc. Our aim is to bring together the talented work from crafters and designers from the region.
Why is Craft Mart so amazing and why should I apply?
Craft Mart is amazing because its bringing the loveliness of the hand-made and uniquely designed world of craft and design into a large indoor venue during an Art Crawl. A contemporary gallery, our space is designed to make your work the focus. You should apply because we want to bring together an impressive collection of crafters and designers.
How much are the vendor fees?
The cost to participate is $110.00 payable upon acceptance. The fee guarantees you a table (2′ x 6′) and 1 chair for both days, printed and online promotion. The fees collected by the Inc cover the cost of Craft Mart with all proceeds going towards gallery programming. Please note that there is no application cost or commissions from sales.
Can I apply if I’m not from Hamilton?
How are vendors selected?
Vendors are selected through a jury made up of Inc staff and local guest jurors. The jury process is by consensus. Decisions are based on uniqueness, quality and the distribution of space by goods/category.
How many vendors will be participating?
We are looking for 34 vendors.

What do I do when I am accepted?
After hearing from us, you will need to confirm acceptance by returning a signed contract and paying your vendor fees within 10 days. After 10 days we will be contacting vendors on our wait list.
Regarding Cancellations: Once accepted and payment submitted your participation fee is non-refundable.
NSF fees will apply for returned cheques.
What does the space look like?
The Inc has an attractive glass foyer that is fully wheel chair accessible leading you into our two contemporary galleries. We are located on a busy intersection in downtown Hamilton with a lot of foot traffic and nearby parking.
The gallery has clean walls and sharp track lighting. Each vendor is required to bring their own table dressing, decor, extra lights (if needed).
Can I bring my own table and chairs?
Sorry, no. We want every vendor to have the same space and equipment. Feel free to bring any racks that can safely fit on or underneath your table.
Can I share a table or days with another vendor?
Sorry no and no. Collectives and business applying are considered as one applicant. Accepted vendors must attend both Craft Mart days.
Collectives and businesses, please note that although we would love to have you ALL here, for space reasons please only send 2 people max.
When is the deadline?

When will I hear from you?
We plan to get back to accepted vendors by Oct 8th.
