The Inc. is mandated to exhibit a range of disciplines and career levels and to exhibit a cross-section of artists from local, regional and national communities. Selections criteria are informed by the Inc.’s mandated objectives.  As an artist-run centre, the Inc. is interested in works/projects that have potential impact, push boundaries and engage with critical, conceptual and/or experimental contexts from a diverse range of perspectives and voices. The Inc. supports and encourages submissions showcasing artists and curators most recent endeavors as well as works that incite conversation and promote a range of intersectional narratives. We are committed to providing a platform for risk-taking and creating an inclusive space to explore expanded art practices. We are dedicated to social and cultural diversity in our programming and encourage applications from contemporary artists and curators of diverse communities and backgrounds

The Cannon Gallery is juried internationally and seeks open proposals from both artists and curators at all levels of their careers.
