A visual discussion by two local artists as they explore and reflect on the rural and urban landscapes that surround them. A strong sense of place is shared with viewers, encouraging readings of life, hope and change as well as other narratives held within these living landscapes.

Herbert Fodor has been a fine art photographer in Hamilton for over 30 years. He finds much of his inspiration along Hamilton’s waterfront landscape that has been reclaimed from a life of industrial onslaught, finding unexpected colour and shapes that draw you into the scene.

Ralph Heather is an original print maker who grew up in Hamilton and now lives in Paris, Ontario. In his art stories emerge revealing details and messages in places gone unnoticed and taken for granted. Finding the beauty of our still present landscapes and places that over time can slip away and disappear so easily.
