For Immediate Release: Hamilton Artists Inc. Presents Craft Mart 2015

HAMILTON, ON (Nov 26, 2015) Hamilton Artists Inc. will present the third annual Craft Mart at its gallery on James St. N. from December 11- 12, 2015.

“Craft makers are sometimes overlooked in the contemporary arts community,” says Inc. board member, Nancy Anne McPhee. “The Inc.’s Craft Mart brings them more closely into our fold and allows us as an arts organization to better support these talented artists.”

Craft Mart is a curated craft and design market with some of the area’s most talented and avant-garde artisans selling their wares.  This year, Craft Mart is being held closer to the holiday season to better serve shoppers and vendors alike. It will run during Artcrawl on Friday, December 11, from 6 – 10 pm, and continue through Saturday, December 12, 11 am – 5pm.

The unique, handmade products include furniture, ceramics, cloth dolls, prints, collages, clothing, jewellery, stained glass and more.  Wares range from sophisticated to delightfully whimsical. Vendors include well-known local craft makers Hitokoo, GirlCanCreate, Portal Studio and art collective F(NOR).

To take the chill off, there will also be Smalls’ coffee and baked goods Made for you by Madeleine for sale.

We welcome the public to our gallery and invite them to consider local, handmade gifts this holiday season. Why not get unique gifts for your unique friends?
