SketchUp for Artists Workshop

At-Home Art Documentation Workshop

The Hamilton Artists Inc. is partnering with Trinity Square Video to bring a unique professional development workshop for artists and curators. Learn all about SketchUp and how to utilize this free program to help produce 3D layouts for calls for submissions with our amazing facilitator Holly Chang! For artists and curators, SketchUp offers a unique and streamlined way to professionalize their exhibition pitches to galleries or artist space. This workshop will take place online on Zoom on Thursday November 24 from 7:00-900pm.

Workshop Setup/Requirements:


Holly Chang is an artist based in Toronto who has recently completed her MA in Communication and Culture at TMU/York University. Chang – as a second-generation Chinese Canadian – maintains cultural ties with her cross-cultural identity and draws on her hybrid background for inspiration. Chang makes use of a variety of artistic mediums including textiles, photography, ceramics and natural dyeing. She has recently exhibited her work in her first solo show with Gallery 44 in April 2022 and participated in the Banff Artist in Residence program in Spring 2022.


This workshop is co-presented by Hamilton Artists Inc. and Trinity Square Video.
