Three artists explore nuanced notions of balance and harmony in their creative depictions of landscapes, architecture, and abstract forms. Together, these works offer the viewer a dynamic journey that is simultaneously playful, graceful, vibrant and unified.

CMBear was born and raised in Southern Ontario and currently resides there. She started painting several years ago as a part of her recovery from a life-threatening car accident which left her immobile for several months.  It was revitalizing to create. CMBear works mostly in oils and oil/plaster but loves to learn new and interesting techniques in other media as well.

Doug Brown studied drawing with Marion Mattice at the Conservatory of Music in his teenage years. While attending university and employed as a high school teacher he had little time to pursue his creative practice. In the years preceeding and following his retirement however, he has taken up outdoor painting again at the Dundas Vallery School of Art under the guidance of Catherine Gibbon.

Pete Goff, is an artist living in Hamilton, Ontario who uses watercolour, pencil, pen and ink.  His subject matter includes nature scenes, buildings, and the street scenes of the places that he has visited.  If he sees a striking subject he captures it on paper, creating a three dimensional illusion of the subject matter.  He is interested in representational art and also abstract art.   He is an active gallery assistant at Hamilton Artists Inc.   He has studied at the Dundas Valley School of Art and has exhibited his work in the Annual Members’ Exhibition at Hamilton Artists Inc. in 2012.
