We would like to recognize Sally McKay, who recently resigned from our Board of Directors after a dedicated tenure as Co-Chair of the board and representative for the NEW Committee. Sally’s remarkable commitment and insight will leave a lasting impact on our organization! In all things, she has highlighted the importance of collaboration, inclusion, and anti-oppression. Sally has been instrumental in the success of many initiatives over the last two years: working with the NEW Committee on the Incoming! project, hiring staff with our HR committee, leading strategic planning discussions and updating policies to reflect new goals, reviewing board meeting protocols, and contributing to a thousand other emails and conversations.
In all things, Sally has been thoughtful, compassionate, critical, light-hearted, honest, incredibly generous, creative and experimental, and dedicated to our community. It’s been a pleasure and an education to work with her. We wish her all the best with her new projects!
